Sharing the operating experience of renewable energy sources
14:17 - 08/03/2022
On March 2rd, 2022, the Danish Energy Agency task force led by Mr. Rune Duban Grandal worked with National Load Dispatch Centre (EVNNLDC) in order to exchange the experience in operating the electricity renewable energy under the Vietnam - Denmark Energy Partnership Programme (DEPP3).
In this event, engineers of EVNNLDC and Danish experts from Danish Energy Agency (DEA) and Energinet - Danish national transmission system operator for electricity, shared their experience in operating renewable energy sources such as: forecasting the generating capacity of renewable energy sources, issues related to the increase of short circuit current, voltage control and auxiliary service mechanism towards a high-penetration renewable power grid.
Mr. Nguyễn Đức Ninh - Director of EVNNLDC highly appreciated the support from Denmark in the previous time of 3 periods, from DEPP1 since 2013 till now with DEPP3 (2020 - 2025), that helped to develop energy in Vietnam by improving clean energy sources and specifying the missions of reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in Vietnam according to Paris Agreement (COP21). Besides, through DEPP Programme, EVNNLDC has been participated in training and advancing the knowledge regarding renewable energy, as well as contributing to building the energy planning and developing policies in Vietnam in the future.

National Load Dispatch Centre expects to continue accompanying international experts in the scenario that renewable energy is the common trend in the world.
“Vietnam - Denmark Energy Partnership Programme in the period of 2020 - 2025” (DEPP3 Programme) is a technical support project sponsored by the Danish Government with non-refundable ODA of 60.29 million Danish Krone (DKK) (equivalent to 8.96 million USD), and internal reciprocal capital is 7.593 billion Dong (equivalent to 326.514 thousand USD). DEPP3 program includes 03 development engagement: - Development engagement 1: Capacity Development for long-range energy sector planning, led by Electricity and Renewable Energy Authority (EREA), Ministry of Industry and Trade. - Development engagement 2: Capacity Development for Renewable Energy Integration into the Power System, led by Electricity Regulatory Authority of Vietnam (ERAV), Ministry of Industry and Trade. - Development engagement 3: Low carbon development in the industrial sector with the Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Development Department (EESD), Ministry of Industry and Trade. |
